Some voiced concerns about the impact pregnancy might have on their careers. The answers revealed widespread struggles: Women and LGBTQ+ service members were nearly twice as likely to mention family-building challenges, including tracking ovulation, taking hormone-based medication, trying in vitro fertilization or navigating adoption processes while continually moving across state lines. The final survey results include more than 8,000 members of the military community. What’s left undone 45 years after the National Women’s Conference The only all-Black women’s unit sent to Europe during WWII is awarded a Congressional medal Thanks for the welcome guys, hopefully I may meet some of you at the Alberta shoot if my Domestic CO lets me out to play.‘You leave everything behind’: As bases end housing, Afghan women detail life as refugees in the United States Wonder if he ever had pay or meal issues? Guess that Capt should have been told the same. Never, ever p*ss of Pay Clerks, Cooks or RMP. My Dad, who was a career soldier as well, gave me one bit of advice when I signed up. So we were just bidding our time till Crab Air could get us home. It was a hard tour for me as lost 6 mates at Majhar Al Kabir, and another 3 in Bashra. We were doing no harm in his bar, wern't out to job anybody just wanted down time like every one else did. Charges were laid and reports handed up the COC. I was never a di*khead ever in my RMP career except that time. Then upped the anti and had all his vehiles stopped leaving the camp and had 100% check of work tickets, equipment, ammo etc. This happened again the next night so same result from me. So as it was a two can rule I asked for a list of all the people in the bar and how many cans they had, he could not produce said list so I shut the bar down. We were in civvies so not on duty and he told us to leave as RMP wernt welcome in his Regt bar. We were in there bar near the end of our tour, which had just been opened up. Worst was probably an officer from a Sigs Regt in Iraq in 2003. Few incidents with drunken squaddies, but no different than CivPol suffer every weekend. I must admit I personally never really got much grief being a "Monkey".

Also just got round to reloading for the Martini and not shot it yet as the prairies get a tad chilly in the winter, plus the fact never let your 13 year old son, who normally does a great job when helping me reload, help you with expensive brass. Probably with that background if I dont shoot well I feel like a pratt.lol.

Even though I have been shooting all my life and have over 15 rifles that are not my military firearms I still get get a bit shy, now hey stop giggling in the back. I need to get to grips more with these older weapons before I enter any shooting comps. I was a Skill at Arms, Marksman, Fibua (Fighting in built up areas) Or Obua (Operations in built up areas) or as we called it FISH (Fighting in some FU**ers House), Dismounted Close Combat, Pistol and Rifle Marksman instructor to name but a few, as well as running my Coy shooting team. I am hoping to get to the Alberta shoot, more just to meet up with like minded people, and see how the shoot is run.
